Although the near-field technique enables us to measure at high spatial resolution, near-field optical signals is very weak. Thus we should combine near-field technologies with highly sensitive detection techniques. Furthermore, as the depth distribution of the near-field is also of sub-micron order, we must apply highly sensitive regulation techniques of sample-probe separation, which generate surface topography information. Another unique feature of near-field spectroscopy is that it can measure samples in situ in air, inert gas, vacuum, water, at low temperature, etc.. Near-field spectroscopy has potential in a variety of applications. In our product line, the following in situ measurements are supported:
1) air
2) inert purging gas
3) low temperature ( down to 5.4 K ) and currently under development:
4) vacuum
5) water And changing the optics ( laser and detector etc. ) allows us
6) high time-resolution measurement.
